About Stephen Frahm

I started STC because senior-level UC engineering was too hard to find.

I have spent 25 years working inside complex Cisco UC environments. CUCM, Contact Center, UCCX, Unity, Webex, Amazon Connect. Large enterprises, multi-site deployments, migrations that should have been straightforward and weren’t. I have seen what happens when the wrong person is in the room on a high-stakes engagement. I started Solution Track Consulting so there would be a better option.

Every engagement at STC is led and delivered by me. The person on your calls is the person doing the engineering. If you have a UC environment with real problems and real stakes, that’s the kind of work I take.

Over 25 years, I’ve built a network of experienced engineers I can draw on across the full IT landscape, not just UC. When a project needs additional depth, I bring in people I’ve worked with directly and trust. You still deal with me. The work still gets done right. Most of my work comes through referral or repeat engagement, and I’ve kept it that way on purpose.

Every engagement starts with discovery. I document what’s actually in the environment before anyone changes a config. No assumptions, no surprises. When it’s done, your team has documentation they can operate from, in a format they own.
